Turbeazy’s new sinGle released at amityville Music hall

On March 5th, $10 got you into one of the best Long Island single release parties. Team Inkredible presented Long Island artist Turbeazy’s new single “Deadly” at Amityville Music Hall. Turbeazy shared the stage with additional performances by some familiar Five Towns College faces such as Divine 9, Wavy D, and Enoch. Wavy D hit the stage performing a song he knew would get the crowd jumping. His new song, “All My Hoes,” was a fan favorite, keeping everyone singing at the top of their lungs. The group went even crazier when the hosts hit the stage.
Hosts Black Lotto and Hip Hop Mike had amazing performance breaks and kept everyone in high energy. They also made sure to honor the recent passing of artist Pop Smoke by playing his songs throughout the night, filling the room with his hits “Dior,” “Welcome to the Party,” and “PTSD.” The music didn’t put a damper on things as many in the crowd turned up the energy in honor of Pop Smoke. FTC theatre major, Destini Fell, enjoyed the atmosphere saying, “It was nice that the good energy stayed high from when you first walked in to when you left. The whole room was jumping.”
The night was about Turbeazy’s new single, but he didn’t mind turning his attention to the tragedy that took place a couple of weeks prior and sharing the limelight with his close friend. Five Towns very own Obasi Jackson, Pop Smokes older brother, couldn’t attend the party but was represented and put the room in high spirits when his popular song “Need Your Love” played. Turbeazy headed to the stage to plug Obasi Jackson’s music saying, “Everyone take out your phones and tag Obasi while you listen to his song.” The crowd shortly after pulled out their phones, singing and dancing along to his song. Turbeazy took to Instagram to give thanks to everyone who came out to support and said, “It was nice to see so many familiar faces.”
The event was very inspirational for many new artists coming up in the music industry. It was also a great place to network with upcoming producers, artists, and photographers. $10 for a fantastic show and an opportunity to network with so many potential collaborators allowed many to leave the event feeling fulfilled and ready to create. FTC film major, Bryson Bullock, left feeling inspired, saying “I can’t wait to work with some of the people I met tonight. It was an event filled with talent.”
